    So why mention it in the first place,and I drought that there are many that can say they have not had a "freebie " offered or notwink

    They do pay £12 extra a night on sites that admit them. So I doubt that many non members are queuing up to get a pitch.🤔

    So just answer this. How many stay on club sites with any regularity, don't mind paying £12 a night extra for regular use and have a desire to use a fast charger? Doesn't look like a great number does it?

    Quite, but obtaining a penalty payment itself, which is what you advocated, is unenforceable.

    If using a service it is very easy to make this a contractual condition which is easier to enforce but no need for the hassle of legal enforcement. Far easier to withdraw membership.

    I agree. It is far easier to withdraw membership. 

    The idea of a penalty payment and attempting to enforce it is ludicrous. Frankly, I’m surprised you ever suggested it.
