Return of "The (not so) Special One"!
What on earth are Spurs thinking of? They have a decent, well respected, successful manager who has not only led them into the Champions League but actually to the final of that competition for the first time, who has nurtured many of the current crop of England players and yet, because of a temporary poor spell they decide to dump him and bring in one of the most dated and backward thinking manager of modern times. A "winner" maybe, but will his style cut it with the Spurs fans?
Heaven help that club, they deserve everything that comes their way now!

I give it until end of season. The owner’s cheque book is locked shut, and M likes to build his own team. It won’t last. However his particular form of “angst” is usually amusing to watch. 😂

I just wonder how long the talks with "The Special One" had been going on for prior to yesterday. Daniel Levy must have been lining him up for a while. I can't see it being a great success, as Marino is yesterday's man, with outdated ideas.

Well done to Wales. Just need to wrap Gareth Bale in cotton wool now! Sincerely hope they do well, they provided some great moments in the last big tournament👍😁

PL owners are a very dodgy breed, second only to a good few politicians😂
We have found out why Middlesbrough are so underwhelming at the moment. Owner has other priorities, namely buying and building a grouse/pheasant shooting estate on NY Moors.

I use it in a quantitive description rather than a moral one M! 😂

This appointment beggars belief! What on earth were the board thinking at Spurs?? Yes, the Sullen Idiot (I refuse to use his other name) has a track record of winning trophies at the clubs he's managed, but only when he's had an open cheque book to do it! That's why he's never managed a 'smaller' club - until now. Hope Pochettwhateverhisnameis gets a new post very soon. He's done remarkably well in my opinion, without any real funding.
