    Seems to be becoming an annual event/s almost anywhere these days David and at any time in the year. At one time you could put it down to a particular season but no longer.

    Over the last few years the season's weather have got more and more extreme hotter summers ,monsoon amounts of rain, and as a few weeks ago near tornado conditions just off our atlantic coast,less rain in places that are now , even in our area in an inviromental drought

    The site we stay at near Avignon gets flooded most years, sometimes twice. Nothing new.
