Radio advertising
I tuned the wireless yesterday to a commercial station and heard an advertisement for the CAMC. Is this a regular occurrence? It got me wondering if we are short on numbers? Looking at late availability for the next 3 weekends - it would appear so.
Maybe the pricing structure is taking its toll? Perhaps it's Brexit or simply that the school holidays are virtually over? Is my hard-earned paying for these adverts instead of site renovations? So many questions and possibilities! Think I'll retune the wireless 😀

I tend only to listen to BBC Radio 4, and that only occasionally, so I am completely out of touch with the demographic that tends to listen to commercial radio. Perhaps they are trying to reach a younger demographic?

Looks like it covers most of UK at 55 million total population cover, aged 15 +. Total listening figures are 5 million a week, at an average of 7.6 hours.

Is it not possible that quite a few people now listen to radio online?

Adverts on radio?
Perhaps that is why I and maybe others, no longer listen to the radio.
OK, so there is some deep stuff, scientific items, fluffy ersatz stuff and a god-awful racket for those with no sense or musical taste.
Every one to their own hell I suppose.
