I pay the price a site asks purely because that’s where I want to be, no one is pushing my arm up my back

it shows just how much extra prices have gone up in a single year.

All it shows TTDA is how much prices have apparently risen at this particular popular site. I was wrongly charged on two sites this year and had a refund because of my date of making the booking. One site was the wardens fault (I don't expect to have to check on arrival) the other was my OH who misheard a question as she was booking in on that occasion. The increase, for a 5 night stay, was £1.20 in one case and less than £1 in the other from memory. Certainly not more than 24p a night. No idea why this site has gone up so much if what the OP says is correct and if he is not mistaken.

I do have my doubts about that as next years Peak for North York Moors, also a non facility site is similar in 2020 and this years increase was very small - in pence rather than pounds
