Storage near to Compton, Berkshire

I have recently purchased my first motorhome and need to store during the week. 

Is there any secure storage near to Compton, East Ilsley area berkshire? The closest I can find is Self storage in Dorchester on Thames but this is 30 min drive to us - I'm hoping there is something much closer??

    Mr Google says Newbury Caravan Storage - just down the road from where you are.

    Thanks Eurotraveller,  

    We are finding that any where close (30 mins) are all fully booked including the Newbury Caravan storage - I guess its that time of year when most homes are going into storage. 

    We are now on at least 10 waiting lists- If I find any new "secret" local storage sites i will share on the forum.

    Sorry that didn't work for you. Is there any chance of coming to an informal temporary arrangement with any of the racing stable yards in East Ilsley or at the stables up Downs Road in Compton, or a local farm? A personal approach to them might perhaps give you a breathing space till one of your other options falls vacant.

    I’m afraid I can’t help with your query but I just wanted to say that I lived in Compton when I was a child. My mother taught at the village school and my grandfather worked at a local farm. I have very happy memories.
