Well I can honestly say that we don't use them because of the price especially during peak periods, among other things.wink

If folk really don’t want to have children around go to non facilities sites like Thetford Forest.  Usually a couple maybe but the price is usually a lot lower💷

All maths and English classes up to level 2 (GCSE) are free at your local FE college.

Sorry off topic but you brought it up.

On topic were the two sites you talked about much different in cost?

It is difficult to debate when one side refuses to do so. It is difficult to debate flaws when we have not been informed what they are? Also did PD say there was a flaw?

It is also a shame that one side had to resort to ridiculing and labelling, and has to say things like back slapping .

Why not just argue your case without them?

Why is the view of any group on here discounted as that of a minority? It may be a small sample but why should it be particularly biased to any given viewpoint?

Just for the record, I don't think the Club should go down the AO route. Neither would affect my decision on choosing a club site as it is about price.

never stay on site unless the weather is really bad, this site is good for us you can walk from site into West Bay makes a nice evening stroll and some good pubs/eating places, Weymouth is a nice drive out and a very good place to walk for me nice and flat, 2 replacement knees hills not so good, Lyme Regis, Charmouth the list goes on and all within a short drive, i also like swimming so site has a good pool (PAYG) but not expensive, gym, sauna, steam room, very doggy friendly the list goes on, and i love children, although they will be back at school when we go this time, but will be busy at weekend if weather ok with many tents. Price is secondary for me, if a site is in a location i like to visit and offers what i want i pay, if these means i can only tour 3 times a year instead of 4 so be it laughing  and this site is def not AO(tranquil) when busy, laughing

The Caravan Club (UK) as a registered name at companies house is the name of the company and will remain so as to protect the membership in the case of any insolvency, and  as is also the Camping Club ltd that covers the variose trading names that both  clubs (companies)use  for the separate parts of each organisation

It looks a nice place if you like that holiday camp sort of place,

i should say TTDA, Highlands End is not really holiday campish in that they provide lots of entertainment for children etc, there are lots of open spaces and families tend to make their own entertainment, site sits on top of a cliff so it can be a bit blowy, there is another site the other side of bay Fresh Water beach, this is more holiday campish indoor/outdoor pools, bowling alley etc, have used it and interestingly although it has more to offer the price difference v Highlands End was quite small, but Fresh water is a very large site .

Both these sites outside of school holidays can feel a bit AO ish, i meet lots of people my age 70ish who like to swim, use gym etc, and lots of ramblers doing the jurasic coast path.
