An excellent site, Stayed there twice last year. Good facilities when we were there, and they have been completely refurbished last winter. Stunning location, staff speak English, in fact Julie on reception is english, small bar serving basic meals but the sister campsite a short walk away has a restaurant. You can get the water ferry into Annecy from just down the road and get tickets from reception.

Haven't been within the last two years but we thought it a very well run site although rather cramped and congested - every inch is used and it is very full in school summer holidays.

It's in great location with much to see and do if you want to be out and about in the area though the campsite itself is perhaps more suited to younger children than teenagers.

My only thoughts are that it is noisy and cramped but very popular and busy (sort of go together really!)

IMO there are better sites not far away but in the end it all depends on what facilities you want balanced against the inconvenience of the noise and lack of space.

Well, we stayed there for 1 night about 3 years ago having intended to stay longer based on enthusiastic reviews. We found it dire. Cramped, noisy, no local boulangerie (the British owners supplied "baguettes but they were of the pre-cooked supermarket variety and horrible). And this was in June, nowhere near high season.

However, I'm sure some love it and those people would probably hate the low key municipals that we enjoy. Chacun à son goût as they say.....

We went some years ago. It was our first choice although we weren't booked. We didn't like it for similar reasons stated. It was very shaded and cramped. we moved to a small site further up the hill called La Taillifer more to our liking but perhaps not yours as perhaps to sedate for teenagers. There are three sites further along the same road. Camping La Ferme, Camping La Fontaine and Camping L'Ideal which you could drive to in just a few minutes and check them out.

Someone took this photo and put it on Trip Advisor to show what the pitches were like when they were there.

If you’re looking for a quiet site that’s not too far from Annecy there’s Moulin Dollay in Groisy (nice but a bit off the beaten track) or Camping Municipal le Savoy in Challes-les-Eaux, just outside Chambéry, which we liked very much when we stayed there in July as it’s both quiet and reasonably centrally located. Besides, it was very good value for money.
