    Given the bad weather we have had I suspect occupation levels have been hit by last minute cancellations so they may need to drop the prices to get people back but the figure given looks too low to make a difference.

    Must admit get a bit jealous when i see OAP ,now 65 retired ,been at work since 15 , but i cant get bus pass or pension till 66 ,3 months . Must agree both clubs sending offers during school holidays ,no thanks

    Is it just till the beginning of September?

    We will be stopping 4 nights in Kendal in October, but on the CCC site, works out over £4 less per night for us, bookable hard standing, and very nice toilet block too!

    Weather was good through July. Came back from 7 weeks tour at end of July. Weather only turned sour a week ago really.

    Yes, we were away 17/06 till 20/07 and had great weather......too hot most of the time!

    I prefer 'Too Hot' to horizontal rain. laughing
