Why do the percentages add up to 203%?

    Do you have a link?

Do those having a 'staycation' include those not taking a holiday?

They don't add up to 203% Alan!

    It's 52% of 25 - 34 year olds,  39% of 35 - 44 year oldsetc.

I think the figures come from the C&CC magazine. smile

I just don't believe at 73% of all those that are 65 or more will be going abroad this year. There must be millions in that age group that can't even afford a holiday let alone one "over there".

I think we're talking about Barclays customers here! Those that don't even have a bank account etc. won't be on the "list."

I ditched Barclays Bank when they closed the last Bank in our town. We should have let them ALL fall down in 2007/8. The more of them collapse or get massive fines for their illegal trading practises the more I like it.

ps they are obviously now selling their customers personal information to get these figures.Crooks.

Where we go (70-75 age group) is a secret just for us and anyone else on these forums...and the rest of the rest of the Western World.😉

pps is the Outer Hebrides considered a 'staycation' ?

So where do the 35-38 y.o. go on holiday?

Having got rid of the kids to a Holiday Camp for them, grabbed a tent, chucked it in the boot of a car and shot off to a camp site on the Gower Peninsular.

How do I know? Well, that's what we did.
