I have a large diagonal crack running through my screen on my I-Pad mini 128gb  The I pad has never been dropped so not sure what caused it.  Wondered if anyone had similar problem and what it costs to replace the screen?

You could give your local Apple shop, or authorised seller/repairer, a call and ask the price, One, but I recommend sitting down when you hear the reply.

Definitely a sitting down job. For official repair, Apples website says £186.44 for a mini 2, £276.44 for a mini 3 or 4.surprised

On my daughter's i phone, she dropped it, she just took it to a one man local repair shop and it cost £50, they did ipad repairs starting at £120. Might be worth seeing your local independent shops?

Mine was replaced by a mobile engineer sourced through a franchise phone number. Apple won’t sell their screens outside of Apple, so what they fit is a clone. He took less than an hour to do the job. Later pads have their screens stuck on, so a friend had to wait three days before collecting hers although it’s unlikely that the glue would take that long to harden. That’s a £200 repair.
