Surface Scratches/Smears
Hoping someone might be able to solve a fairly simple problem for me! When we brought the van back from our latest trip away there was a scaffolding lorry parked just across the way from our drive. So I had to take a detour around before being able to get into the right position to get it onto the drive. In doing this I obviously brushed one side of the van against some tall bushes which have left streaks down one side of the van - not even surface scratches really. But I haven't been able to get rid of them by washing the side of the van. They're not a major problem, of course, just a bit unsightly.
So if I invested in some Bobby Dazzler would that do the trick? Or does anyone know a simpler method?

Autoglym super resin polish.
This is in essence a very light abrasive compound with silicon fillers.
I use this annually on my caravan, I wouldnt use a power mop like I do when I polish the cars, the paint on a caravan is far too thin. Hand applied and like wise removed will do the trick, and protect the paint, dont panic about the abrasive bit. Google it if concerned.
Solvents I would steer clear of, as I said the paint is very thin, you have more chance of going through the paint with a solvent based product.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a go and let you know if I'm successful. As I said, it's not a major problem, just spoils the look of the caravan side, even then only when viewed from a certain angle. Just a little irritating!
