Vacqueras or Beaumes de Venice?

No I am not asking for your wine preference but for any first hand preferences between the sites in these two towns.

Any thoughts?

    Those two sites may have been upgraded since we were last down there, but they were both simple, rather old fashioned, basic municipal sites - and perhaps that's what you want.

    We found we preferred Camping Le Bregoux at Aubignan, just a few miles away. There are three reviews on UKCampsite.co.uk which match my own opinion of it - and probably dozens of reviews in Dutch as it is very well frequented by those people. 

    But for wine, since you mention it... Chateau des Tours at Sarrians - but that's not cheap..

    Thanks for your advice Eurotraveller - we seem to have similar tastes! 

    I'm only looking at a one night stopover but I will give Le Bregoux a try - looks good, and I have passed through Aubignan many times, so it will be interesting to give a closer look.
