Route advice - Strasbourg to Annecy

Looking for advice/tips. Booked sites before checking routes only to now see that the best Google Maps route Is through Switzerland from Basel to Geneva.

What is the situation regarding tolls, permits or anything else I should be aware of ?

Or is it a drive straight through ?

Or via Dole and avoid Switzerland ?

We are taking a 4.25t Autotrail

    Your vehicle is too heavy for the standard Swiss vignette so when you get to the Swiss border at Basel show your UK v5 document to explain the vehicle weight to the officer and go inside the border post where they will sell you a heavy vehicle permit to pass straight through the country - 25 Swiss francs I believe, so probably cheaper than going the long way round if that involves paying French motorway tolls.
