    Hi  

    I can not get insurance for my Hobby VIP 645. Club will not insure as I believe it to be 24 foot long.  

    Any one help please

      It is a big van and heavy, hope you have a vehicle to legally tow it?

      Ambergate Caravans on 01773 853900 may be able to advise on who will insure it as they are, it seems, the UK dealer

      Did they ask you what you tow it with, as I believe the body length means that you cannot tow it with a normal car, and need a Transit van or similar. They are also the favourite of the traveling community and have a very high theft rate which puts many insurers off.

      I read that the body length is 7.7m and shipping length 8.8m. Width over 2.4m - maybe just under 2.5m. Difficult to find info. 

      If that is correct it needs a tow car over 3,500 kg. Do you intend to tow it or site it?
