We used the municipal site st Troyes last September, first time for us and found it fine. Nothing wrong with the sanfacs lots of hot water and clean. The site gets busy later in the day with overnighters but there is plenty of room.

The shop next to the site is an Aldi and Lidl is about 600m away, we didn't walk into town but cycled there instead, easy to do.

    Would use this site again.

We use Lac d'Orient twice most years. Easy access from the motorway in either direction 20 minutes ish. Don't have to retrace your steps. Nice pool, pretty lake opposite. Campsite restaurant looks a bit basic but Italian restaurant on the lake side is good. Accepts ACSI but have found that pitches allocated can be very cramped and in an area of the site flooded after rain, so we usually pay a little more and book through the club. Would recommend.

The municipal Langres was a bit of an experience, accessed through arch in city walls. Far reaching views. Very hapazard pitching. Likewise Troyes but that was several years ago. Lac de Liez was fine but all in all would choose Lac d'Orient.
