Bonterra Park Arrival

Hi Everyone

I've booked  a Bonterra Park Caravan gold pitch arriving early September. Does anyone know what is the earliest time we can arrive on site ? My booking confirmation says 5pm but that would mean having to stop in a layby for 3 hours or stay on site at Zaragoza Municipal until after lunch - and neither holds much appeal ? I've never known such a late arrival time on other sites ?

Thanks-in anticipation.

We've booked in at Bonterra as early as 11am in the past as, although we had booked a pitch in advance via CMC, the site only offered us a pitch based on those that were available at the time we arrived.

I think you probably have to balance your arrival time with when most pitches are likely to be vacated on the day.

Why not just give the site Reception a phonecall directly now or in advance ?

The reception staff speak english or will pass you onto someone who does.

Cannot see that you will have any issue wanting to arrive earlier.

Perhaps they observe the siesta & thats why it's 5pm. But as others say ring their reception

    Hi

Just spent the weekend at Bonterra and most mornings from 9am onwards there was a steady flow of arrivals, we arrived at 11.30am on Friday without a booking and it was no problem and we visit this site at least three times a year and once arrived before 10am so if I was you I would just turn up because here in Spain if they have places they will let you on.

I think 5pm is the time you can stay on pitch on your final day as this was offered to us

    Phil

there's no (staff) siesta at BP....reception is open all day from around 8:00 am to well into the evening.

arrivals come at any time,  just park inside the gateway (plenty of room), walk to reception, get a site plan, walk the site and choose pitch (if not already reserved), confirm with reception and then move van to pitch.

no excess traffic on site, very safe to walk about.

Agree with everything that's been said thus far. We have stayed at Bonterra three times. They will probably allocate you a specific pitch if you have pre booked but if you get there between 9am and 11am you will have the opportunity to select another of you don't like it. Although the pitches in theory are the same size they vary a lot in shape and shade.
