Another heads up
Camping Uzurat near A20 Limoges, was closed when we arrived late April, and doesn't look like it will open anytime soon.
As we had alreadt travelled 300 miles, we had to use the only other site we knew nearby, a Castels site - Chateau Leychoiser which was expensive for what it offered (old poor toilets and showers with luke warm water, uneven pitches, tight entrance) - all for 31.4 Euros/night without ACSI

if travelling almost 500 km with a caravan, didn't you have any alternative in mind? things do happen....
easy for us, we just use the local aire, but with a caravan, and pretty tired out?
in April, didn't you pay the ACSI price?

Thanks for the heads up, if that is the old municipal we've stayed there a few times, always a good stopover especially if its been wet weather as they have a good selection of pitch types.
We were going to stop there this time but decided to stop earlier in the day at Chateauroux instead. Glad we didn't push on if it is indeed closed. Would be good if anyone else knows if its still the case.

Sadly Camping Uzerche is permanently closed. A great pity as it was a good site and gave easy access to the A20 and for a nice stopover visit by the frequent bus service in to Limoges Centre.
The nearest alternative is 12km outside Limoges at Camping Les Greves at Aixe Sur Vienne. It's a simple Municipal Camping but a reasonable alternative, and there is a train service in to Limoges
