Hi All

Does anyone know of a site in these areas that is open all year please? Looking for an overnighter from Ferry before heading to Spain. T/A caravan so cannot use Aires.

February 2020

Intense Google searches reveals nothing.

Cheers

Paul

Camping les Capucines at Ranville, 5 miles from the Caen ferry port.

UkCampsite,co.uk  has a search facility listing lots of others across France.

We've used Les Capucines in the past. It's usually quite full with workers but they've never been a problem. We probably have though, arriving gone 9.30 pm and trying to reverse onto a tight pitch in poor light. You'll have to let them know in advance and when you turn up contact them by the intercom by the office. The owner will come and sort out payment etc.

Apart from the inconvenience it's a decent option and when returning later in the summer used the now open other portion for a few days stop, pre migrant days mind you.

Not stopped for quite a few years but can't see much changing.
