I got it straight from the OP (which I had to take on trust as I've no personal knowledge of the site.)

Maybe F will come back on to confirm if it's true or otherwise! laughing

Well I think we must be talking about 2 different sites as I stayed at the Jewish Red Kite Llabidioes in May 2017 and first visited the site when construction had nearly finished in May 2016 when the owner gave me a tour round the site. I made a trial booking for June this year and there were plenty of spaces available.

Yes, quite possibly. As I said I don't know the site, though I have a friend who's off there in just a couple of weeks and speaks very highly of it having been there last year as well.

Just goes to show, though, that you can't believe everything you read on this forum! wink

As it happens I returned via Red Kite this evening so called in at reception.  There are 68 pitches on the site of which 14 are seasonal.  The season is 10 months and the price is just over £2200.00

A5,A483,A44,A487. As per the route given on plan route on this website.

I would certainly suggest you follow tha last few steps as given for Shawsmead and only leave the A 487 as directed

Also should have put, it’s easy to miss the direction signage at Aberystwyth and go through the town centre. (Only means you have a slightly longer journey)
