I think there's a CL quite close in Harwich, have a look on the website. As for Holland, Delftse Hout outside of, yes, you've guessed it, Delft! I think most people head for Delftse Hout on arrival at the Hook.
Edited to say: I don't know whether you have a day sailing or night sailing, but assume a day sailing, as you're asking for a site in Holland, which you wouldn't do if arriving in the morning after a night sailing.

We thought Dairy House Farm near Manningtree was a perfectly satisfactory CL for Harwich, although if we go again I will have a pub meal somewhere and go straight to the port afterwards and overnight there for the 0900 sailing.
InaD is right about the Delft site being the popular one near Hook of Holland, but as Amsterdam is only 50 miles from the Hook we made a site booking and drove straight up there when we landed at 1700. Campsite reception there was open until 2000 hours.

We use a differsnt CL at Manningtree, Kahana. Plenty of room and an easy 15 minute drive to the port. If catching the afternoon ferry back from Hook then the owners very accomodating about arriving gone 9pm.
Tried all sorts of small sites when arriving in the Netherlands but the best and easiest one is Delft Houste.

Those who have done it say at the left hand side of the huge marshalling area, by the fence. There is even a You tube video showing it.

Stayed at Delft a number of times when arriving from the ferry. The journey takes about half an hour. If you use satnav don’t Use the campsite address as that may well take you through a housing estate and a very low bridge. I put the Ikea location into the satnav and your nearly there. You can book Delft through the club. Can’t help with U.K. as we drive direct to Harwich
PS a lot of folk overnight at check in

Hi, as said keep left once you enter the lanes and head up to lanes1-5 by a single storey brick built building with a flat roof.
Have stayed here and then got a day cabin, to shower and rest, which was handy as it’s a long crossing

Mac, Are you in a Motorhome? There is plenty of space for Motorhome parking (€6) at Keukenhof in a designated area, but you cannot stay overnight there. So drive to a nearby site - perhaps Koningshof - after your visit - or overnight with other motorhomes on the broad verge by the canal outside.

As a CAMC member, you can use the Dutch Caravan Club sites, which are very friendly and very inexpensive, You are supposed to book first, but if the site is not busy you will probably just be able to turn up.
We have booked once, and just dropped in on spec once, both times we were made very welcome.
