once again so sad that anyone who politely posts and disagrees with your views are not allowed to do so without being labelled as usual suspects and even bullies

better than all tarmac though like this wonderful aire?

why be sorry HD? we are allowed to have a preference?

I prefer places more like this, and no, it isn’t in England. Welcomes caravans as well, and pitch how you prefer............😁

indeed look great, is it over there? It seems they are copying club sites more and more? apart from the dangerous spacing of course!

you would prefer the all tarmac site? OK, your choice

That seems to have something for everyone, TDA. 👍🏻

Sad? No, I’m very happy about it. 👍🏻

Actually Dave, towed more than that in the UK, actually my longest motor home trip was about that from Firenze to Palermo and back

I found this pic of Capbreton beach. Is this the aire BB has kindly brought to our attention?

Ah, it is the same place.
Nice beach.

I find it so very trying on here at times.
BB posted something of interest to those who use Aires.
If you don't use Aires then you really have nothing to add to this thread so why come on and make comments about them.
Are you so bored with life that you have to always pick an argument.

Is that any way to address WTG, TG?

I say each to their own choice, we all have different likes and dislikes. We shall be taking in a Walled Garden, Steam Trains, an Elizabethan film set, some iconic railway scenery, one of the deepest caves in England, the North of Englands horse racing centre, childhood home of Richard III, the Duke of Devonshire’s playground, and some of the best food in the North this coming week.........oh, and some of Yorkshire’s best beer! Cheers to all!🍻😁

"…some - who have no intention of travelling "over there", let alone use Aires - seem to want to disrupt the thread…"
WTG, you assume no interest, no intention, whatever, but you do not know. I’m actually enjoying this discussion but I’d not expect you to believe that. I find the concept of aires/car parks fascinating and the comments are a great insight into the psyche of those who travel.
It really isn’t anything to do with me or others if PD hasn’t got around to answering your question.
