Hardly 'wheel less', merely a puncture!

Very cleverly played Wales, akin to the All Blacks - frustrating at the breakdown, slowing possession down, bordering on being illegal and there's only one man who seems to spot it - and he's Welsh and was running the line in Paris!

Really enjoyed France vs Scotland too. A thoroughly entertaining encounter.

Not they couldn't but they did enough to make Ireland look pretty ordinary. Well done to them!

Here we go again, another weekend of fun and games. Scotland may be the surprise team this weekend I reckon. England and France to win! Any thoughts?

England showed just what they are capable of. Will be cheering on the Irish tomorrow.

Another 'comfortable' win for Wales and an expected win for England. Just hope the Irish don't try too hard in Paris today and save themselves for a potential Grand Slam spoiler next Saturday in Cardiff

I wouldn't say comfortable. Don't be so sure of England doing the same to Scotland! as they did to Italy.

Just wondering if the referee could implement a backstop during the 90 mins this afternoon. wink The French may need it. I reckon that the Wales Ireland game will be the best spectator game this year, today may be very important for the Irish preparation for this. May also help the English!😜

Wales hardly broke sweat against the Scots and their sternest test will come next week against the Irish (have you ever seen a more one-sided game vs the French????)

Wales have the habit of winning, even if their games are somewhat dour affairs. The coaching of Shaun Edwards is defensively reaping rewards for Wales and I fully expect them to win next weekend

England vs Scotland at HQ? A dead cert win by at least 20 points!!!

Micky....I have to disagree with you there, I think the Wales vs Ireland game next week will be the most dour game of the tournament - both teams have excellent defences which I think will cancel each other out. I hope I'm proved wrong.

The most exciting game will be at HQ with England putting at least 30 points on the board. Also think the Italians could well do a number on the French!!

    It's just all too excitinglaughing

Though the Welsh defence is good, very good, we have to put points on the board to win....

True, however Wales and Italy are the only teams without any bonus points. The latter is understandable, but not Wales! We're used to seeing exciting running rugby from the boys from the Valleys and with a few exceptions, it seems their defence takes precedence, hence not many tries.

Though our defence is good the ironical thing is that we have exciting and excellent backs that need to be let loose...

St Patrick's Day! I just wonder if he will be that '16th' man? If so, could just be bonus point heaven for the English!wink

'Lucking' forward to seven hours of TV fun tomorrow! embarassed

Up early tomorrow to take SWMBO to the supermarket to get supplies for the games. I suspect a lot of the 'Black stuff' may be consumed as I turn myself into an Irishman for 80 minutes laughing Back to reality with Pork pies and chutney for the final game smile

Congratulations Wales, determination and they played the technicalities excellently in the Principality to overcome a rather bedraggled Irish team in my opinion, may be they should have had the roof shut.

Just wish I could get excited about the Calculta cup now.

Over in Rome I thought Italy were the better side but the post defended well and later a loose carry lost it for them.

Oh, well Japan RWC next after a few important friendlies in between.🙂

Brilliant win for Wales and a thoroughly deserved Grand Slam! What a great way for Warren Gatland to end his 6 nations career. And who'd have thought, 2 months ago, with no Leigh Halfpenny and 16-0 down to France after 40 minutes that it would end this way? It's been a truly remarkable tournamenthe all round! smile

(Still hard to see beyond the All Black's for the World Cup though!)

Excellent first half from England. Just a question, Curry's try was pretty much like that of an old fashion, now illegal, flying wedge, why is this allowed? Surely equally dangerous in these days!

Great entertainment on the final day of fixtures. The Azzurri had more than enough chances to record a win against the French in an entertaining game.

Wales snubbed out the Irish in typical Welsh fashion by not allowing them any ball and when they did attack, Wales defence was superb. Only one try scored and congratulations to them on winning the Grand Slam

The most entertaining game was the Calcutta Cup which really was a game of 2 halves! Incredible comeback from Scotland and I thought they were unlucky not to win. Fabulous game of rugby though!

So now it's off to Japan in September and I would back England to win it if the game lasted 40 minutes, but think the Welsh probably have the best chance of the home nations.
