Hi

Has anyone driven an RV on Vancouver Island?

Can you recommend a campsite and what are the roads like?

    Yes we've stayed on that site at Victoria as well and it was excellent.

    My sister lives on Vancouver Island and owned a campervan in the past so we had a couple of trips together out to the West Coast round the Tofino area.  Spectacular, try not to miss it!  There are a couple of campsites just outside Tofino, right on the beach and there could be wildlife, ie bears, in the vicinity.  We also stayed on a campsite on the way there, right in the middle of the forest:  beautiful but very basic, so you'd probably prefer to use the van's facilities.  Roads are fine.  You should see some of the huge American-style outfits that drive along them!

    I'm envious!
