I think you have said you don't watch TV? But if you can recommend anything, that would be good.

No I don't watch TV but did suggest a TV series that OH watches. smile

Just wondered if you personally had anything to suggest.

The latest things that I have watched on TV were a cartoon Christmas 2017 and the first Iron Man film sometime last year. I have never been a big fan of TV and rarely watched for the last 50 years. I did start watching TV about 22 years ago when I was suffering with depression over a period of 9 months - don't think it helped spending time sat in a chair. So really no first hand knowledge but I did find Jack Hargreaves series of gone fishing and out of town interesting years ago.

Both, they exchange quips, experiences of both their lives & health. A smattering of fishing too😊. It’s like a couple of friends sat on a river bank chewing the fat. . .Which is what they are👍🏻

That’ll be a radio prog then ET. Was TV invented in them days🤔. I remember Grandpa telling tales of when they’d huddle around the radio to listen to stuff back in the day👍🏻. I guess this Jack Hargreaves was from them days. Times move on. . .Gladly👏🏻👏🏻😊

Saw the first one the other night. Nothing like a bit of nostalgia. Quite like the theme tune. A bit 'Ipcress File'

He used to live in Tavistock I believe. A man with taste.

I’ve come to appreciate American dramas a bit more these last few years. Loved Hill Street Blues right from the very first episode, that can be seen on Channel Four iplayer, All4 I think it is called. Loved the American version of House of Cards, Spacey can’t half act, regardless of his other alleged predilections.

just hearing (and sometimes seeing) the intro to Hill street blues just takes me back to watching it on a late Thursday night (after 10?) at home before I moved out to Hull.

Of course in those days you had to watch things when they were broadcast.

Watched  the  first  of  the  new  series  of  "Midsummer  Murders"  I'll  give  the  second  one  a  chance  but  ,, ,, ,, ,, ,, ,, ,,   It  seems  they  knew  it  wasn't  up  to  scratch  so  they  tried  loading  the  cast  with  some  time-expired  actors and  actresses.  And  that  compounded    with  the  ghastly  plot,  left  me  hoping  for  the  return  of  John  Nettles  frown
