Bailey Grande Brindisi
We have purchased a Bailey Grande Brindisi which does not have an alko receiver. I have put my existing Excalibur lock on but due to the narrow gap between the alloy wheel and brake drum it is a very tight fit. I am not even sure an alko lock would fit. On checking the Alko site it states :-
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The AL-KO Secure is not suitable for 2361 brakes fitted with 14” alloy wheels
I am waiting to hear back from the dealer who in turn are waiting to hear back from Bailey and Alko with regards which drum I have.
Has anyone any experience of this. And would the Nemisis ultra fit?

We have the Nemisis Ultra and it should fit provided there are wide enough slats in the wheel. Basically you remove a wheel nut and replace it with the Nemisis one and the clamp fits into that with a steel bar going through the wheel slat. The bar should go through the one of the bottom sections of the wheel so the brake drum should not be a problem. You get two nuts so you can fit one either side if you wish and lock the side that suits you.
There is also a new and similar lock from Milenco which I have not seen but might be worth checking out.

Finally got a response from Bailey.
Good Morning Dave,
Unfortunately although a receiver can be purchased for the 2361 hub, as feared – one cannot be fitted to the Brindisi Grande as a 15” wheel is required for enough clearance between the drum and the wheel. As a result of this a receiver cannot be fitted to your caravan.
Wheel clamp it is then.

In short Bailey have built a van that will not take an Alko hub lock nor any lock including their own branded Bailey Nemisis ultra lock that relies on a bar passing between the hub and the alloy wheel. If they had put 15inch wheels on it would not have been a problem. For some reason the brake hub on the Grande range is bigger than other models.
Im off to the dealers now for a "chat" Expectations are low but it will make me feel better.
Fullstop Nemesis wheel clamp maybe the answer.
If anyone wants to but a complete Alko wheel kit number 39 I know someone who has one.
