Teardrop to Motor Home
After many years in my Teardrop Trailer, I’ve ordered a new Motor Home. Anyone can give me their number one top tip ?

Probably a bit late as you've already ordered it but it pays to have one as small as you can comfortably manage in. Bigger is not necessarily better.

What model have you ordered?

I can’t do that Easy T. I have to have some contact with my old Turtle, hehe

Dead right Tinwheeler, having spent many years looking out for your units, on CC sites over the years. To learn, you’ve had so many changes since your photo, grrrrrr haha

Think minimalist, keep it stocked with a couple of instant meals and clothes for those impromptu get always. Often we would only make the decision to go away for the weekend on a Friday evening having just driven home from work. Absolutely loved it and still do now in retirement.

Avoid buying any accessories until you have used it for a season. We bought a load of stuff and ended up getting rid of most of it.

Ensure you know your vehicles height and width. We were caught out (relied on Sat Nav) and had to do a quick turn into a business premises to find an alternative route. We were also ‘entertained’ in a queue some time ago behind a car transporter by the driver getting out and with a tall measuring pole lowering/adjusting his trailer (with cars on) so that it could fit under a railway bridge where tall vehicles had to use the centre of the A road. Happy travels.
