Triky
There are numerous threads on here already on the broader subject of how Brexit may or may not affect us in this section so perhaps best to have a look through those to see if what you wanted to post is already mentioned before starting another thread?

We are going to France in May for a few weeks. Personally, I don't believe anyone yet knows exactly what to expect. As far as the locals are concerned, I think they are as fed up with Brexit as we are, and just want get along with us regardless. For 2019, things may not change drastically - after that it could depend on attitudes at political levels, and any tit-for-tat silliness from either side. At the moment we are seriously considering 2019 to be possibly our last trip abroad but, being in our 80s and the kick in the teeth for personal cover (ref. Red Pennant and other insurance outlets), the ramifications of Brexit are probably our least concern.

Brother just received this from the ferry company he uses:
The EU agreed this Friday to give British citizens 90-day visa-free travel, even in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
This is great news for British travellers! You'll be able to continue to book your ferry travel throughout Europe this year without any worries, regardless of the outcome of the Brexit negotiations.

I don't think that we can ever again! The world is a very different place today and so are societies within it. As far as us travellers are concerned it's time for Project Reality which is only just beginning to dawn upon us. I for one will wait until we know more. Just remember, or maybe we should have remembered that old adage, be very careful about what you wish for!
One reality may be that obtaining pitches on British sites may become even more difficult!

As this thread does not serve a particular purpose and seems to be encouraging debate on the subject of Brexit I will close. There is no issue with discussing specific issues around travelling to Europe and how our hobby might be affected but general topics only encourage us to slip into personal views about the subject, which are not allowed under the T&C's.
Thanks
David
