Very sad to find this wonderfully funny man has died aged just 57. Regular Radio 4 listeners will miss him immensely. RIP Jeremy.

Very shocked and saddened to hear this. RIP Jeremy

I hope the BBC put on some of his appearances as a tribute in due course. He was such a funny guy. Far too young to leave us

He was indeed, such a gifted comedian. Terribly young as well, in this day and age. Some of the stuff on BBC Radio 4 is worth the license on its own, some great stuff on there. We usually tuned in more when away in van, as we seldom bothered with a TV.

Not sure if it’s still on the go, but Radio 4 extra was better. All the good bits, but less of the dross. I am not into Hancock, his so called genius never clicked with me, or OH either.

I was terribly saddened by this news. A genuinely funny man who also appeared to be a genuinely nice, caring person. Not too many of those around. One of few I went out of my way to listen to. Thank you JH.

TTDA,  sadly  we  need  some  dross  to ensure  we  appreciate  the  good.

Jeremy was a gem in many respects and his comic skills, social and political views resonated with me. He will be sadly missed.
