We are already booked for two holidays abroad next year; in May-June and September-October. Come what may, we shall be there in Spain. It will be interesting to see, if there is a problem for Brits to travel to the continent, how companies like Brittany Ferries will react, after all about 95% of its business is between UK and France-Spain.

Speaking as a non pooch owner, () I booked a ferry about a month ago which means I will be in Spain come the 29th.March and France in April. Interesting times but somehow I think they'll still accept my Euros and anyway there is going to be a transition period so if you are thinking about worrying postpone that worry for at least 2 years.

Of course there are exceptions to my post, and I am one We shall be 'overthere' in April with our dog, just a little more patience needed at border control I suspect. Anyway we returned with €650 this year so need an excuse to empty the piggy bank.

I thought that was contingent upon "the deal". If we "crash out" ( why should it be referred to as a crash?), I dare say the preparation levels will be the same both sides of the channel. They'll probably make it up as they go along and find that, like Bohemian Rhapsody, nothing really matters at all.

I'm quite happy to travel without the Caravan and rather like long haul flights to far away places. I have just been browsing www.skyscanner.net

Ferry already booked for our Spring break, flights booked and paid for our trip to Lanzarote as usual in March, but before either of those we shall be having a nice cruise to the far east.
Worried about Brexit, not us business as usual

Any body contemplating going through France while the "latest" on going protests may find some motorways closed ,as per a member who has just come through and arrived here today, the natives did not hinder his journey, but could not say the same for the authorities

Last time we used the Autoroutes when they were picketed, we travelled about 100 miles then were waved through the pèage station without paying. Bring it on!
