That's good I couldn't find it, I wonder how far it will tow and if it reduces the charge distance?

Looks as if they start from £51,000 ($65,000). Is that good value for money I wonder?

How long do you think it's going to be before the tax on the leccy exceeds the cost of the basic price for it?

If it does 400 miles and tows a decent load, and can go off road, I’d have one. Apart from front, looks like an early Jeep Cherokee...........updated!

I’m just starting to look around for my next tow car. Don’t think I’ll go for this one. Thinking of changing from diesel to a petrol soft hybrid.

Doubt it would tow3.5t more than 100miles probably less. Same physics applies as to Tesla X which has a very limited towing range.

    Typical company start up hype.

You can apparently deposit $1000 to reserve one for 2020 with no risk.

    Hmmm   tempted?

Is there any indication of price, or have I missed that bit. ?.

It looks like it could be a great base vehicle for a conversion to a campervan, for those who enjoy the concept of actual touring.

    wink

Someone mentioned around £51,000.0 how does that compare to a top of the range 4X4?

There are electric campervans already. LINK

Of course there are Brue, but so far a very limited choice.  Anybody considering buying an Electric camper would want a comprehensive range of vehicles and manufacturers for their consideration, to match their particular lifestyle choices.

New all electric Jag on 5th gear programme other day , to add extra 20 miles onto the range costs £2.50 at a pay charging station & takes an hour ......fine if you have plenty of time on your hands .....or are retired 😊.

Looks very nice & drives lovely apparently ....cost £60k

I expect you know that vehicles can be converted to electric so as things develop there will no doubt be a range of options.

Regarding the price it looks as though the vehicle on this thread compares reasonably well with the more expensive 4x4s. As production improves no doubt costs will come down. The vehicle driving ranges are increasing too which is good news.

Incidentally our EV has the same start speed it's quite something to experience this.

It looks ok to me, but I wouldn't think it would tow far, probably half of the solo distance claims.

Electric cars are going to end up as farcical as Brexit, with very little planned for all the charging points through out the UK, that will be needed.

The argument for petrol is even more confused of late, worldwide CO2 emissions are at their highest ever unyet diesel which emits less CO2 has become the demon because of particulates - at least the older versions, how long will even a petrol hybrid survive as being eco friendly.
