Hi, has anyone stayed at the above at L’escala? We have stayed at L’Amfora but looking for something different and this site seems OK but can’t find a lot of reviews/info.

We will have some Club vouchers to use up so also considering Camping Playa Brava at nearby El Mas Pinell.

Thanks.

    But hey, think positive Allan.

There are 937 opinions about it on Google, 202 on Trip Advisor, 96 on ACSI, a few more on Zoover, one enthusiast on UKCampsite,  and a helpful comment and photo on the Alan Rogers page.

And it looks a nice place to me !

Sorry cant assist with your question.

Suggest try a re-post on the Caravan Talk Forum - Caravan Holidays Abroad bit.

A vastly more popular and active forum than CMC. Just check out the number of topic views !

Hi euror, yes I thought it looked nice too.We stayed at L'amfora a few years ago and it was good and our pitch huge but wanted something a little different as we will be meeting up with our friends and they have also stayed at L'amfora.

Montesa, did look on Caravantalk but just the one comment from someone who had stayed. Might post as you suggest.

    Thanks.

Hi David, yes looks very nice and for us app €27 a night but for our friends, who are not yet at an age to obtain the discounts, it would be over €36 which they would not be prepared to pay.

So will keep looking but, when I look out of the window at the wind and rain, its not a hardship!

Stayed there last October 2017 Location is good but we found many stray cats on site and plenty of ants (take ant powder if you visit)  our dog had to go to the vet on our return as she had cat fleas. we stayed at the bottom half of the site  where the pitches were level. We used Acsi camping card. Site does not take cards only cash. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Would visit gain just for the area but would go ready armed to deal with cats and ants.

Hi farmhouse, thanks for that. Its the sort of info that is useful in deciding on a site and I have to say that if I mention this to my wife then that will be the end of it!

Can cope with ants but not cats-never had issues on site but have on other types of holiday. If 'many' is not too great a number that would be OK but have had experiences when they are all around when you eat and that we cant live with.

    Thanks anyway!
