New to motorhomes - need some advice on a dealer

Hi all,

We are thinking of starting out with a motorhome and came across a dealer on the web, P&P Caravans in Newcastle, Tyne & Wear.

Does anyone know of them or have any views as we couldnt seem to get much information on their stock or even if we could go there and view what stock they had.

Any advice would be appreciated :)

    DON'T DEAL WITH THEM.

I have no personal knowledge, but there is a sticky thread by Rowena (Community Manager) on scam dealers and that dealer is one of those listed.

This sounds suspicious. Stick with a dealer well known in the trade and it could save you £thousands.

Google and other MH/caravan forums are worth checking.

Never heard of them and I'm a local. While this of course doesn't mean I know every dealer in the area I've certainly visited or dealt with most over the years.

Usually you have to take your MH back to the dealer you bought from for any warranty work, primarily because dealers prioritise their own customers over people who didn’t buy from them. This needs to be borne in mind when looking at where you buy from, you don’t want to be travelling too far.

From where you are based could I recommend Kimberley’s at Darlington. They have a large stock and we have found their customer service excellent.
