Caravan trip to Croatia (& a few other places!)

Our annual trip to mainland Europe this year was prompted by the fact that several friends had been to Croatia and all loved it. We decided we'd like to see for ourselves, so planned a trip through Germany & Austria then returning via Slovenia, Italy, the Black Forest & Luxembourg. We had 5 weeks in May & June between family events & were determined to used every one to the full - I think we succeeded.

Nothing was booked apart from the ferries - Hull/Rotterdam going out and Hook of Holland to Harwich on the return. Out of 9 possible sites from my homework we only used 3, as we headed south instead of east due to expected days of solid rain. We were only turned away at one site - it had 15 pitches & was full of a Dutch motorhome rally, and we have found several nice sites to add to our collection.

    Great to read your blog. Must take you ages choosing photos to use 😉! Looking forward to trying a trip over there ourselves. One day, hopefully before were passed it 😂😂

    Glad you enjoyed it - and yes, you must go! Yes, its quite hard to choose pics as I take so many! I enjoy it though, and as its my online diary its worth the effort :)
