Convenient First Stop after Le Havre

If you tackle France via Portsmouth to Le Havre, then Honfleur has a superb aire as you enter the town.  It has 100 + places many with electric hook up and you can pay by card on the machine. The last time we stayed it was 10 euros.  We have stayed here on numerous occasions and it is a short walk into the beautiful medieval sea basin and town centre.  I attach some photographs, I only wish more UK resorts would follow this example.

I stayed on this Aire in 2017. I paid the fee only to be told that for Blue Badge holders it is free. I was lucky a fellow Brit arrival offered to buy my ticket. I didn't see any EHUs but it is a huge Aire and on the anniversry of D- Day it was extremely busy and I didn't wander around it.
