Touring in the Netherlands
we have taken the caravan to the Netherlands a few times and would highly recomend the Netherlands Caravan Club signposted as the NCC, thier sites are small in great locations and there is always a very warm welcome from the site host who is usually on duty
for an hour or so a day. you will recieve a discount on their already low prices if you show your caravan club card. Most commercial sites in the netherlands including the ones you can book through the UK caravan club are large and with statics on ok if you
like Haven holidays or have small children that like to use all the facilites but if your looking for a quieter holiday then Id thoroughly recomend the netherlands caravan club, you even get free WIfi in the van PLEASE NOTE caravan club of GB!! The website
is http://cms.ncc.nl

Thanks Yorkshireman
Also looking at a NCC site for 2019 and will try and book via the email address on their website.
Anyone used a NCC (Netherland Camper Club) site recently??

Sorry no experience of that, but the Vekabo.nl website is another good source of information about small campsites right across the Netherlands - and proves the ordinal five year old post to be quite wrong in implying that "most commercial sites" in the Netherlands are like Haven holidays. There is every sort of campsite there.

Sorry, meant Original not Ordinal.

Thanks for the info, good to see more fans of the Dutch campsites. They have sites of all types and never had a bad one. They do have their fair share of big family sites but also have many independents and also many micro-campings (equivalent of our CL).
Standards are usually very high.
