would like some recommendations please, sorted most of this trip just looking for any recommendations for a suitable site for short stay 2 - 4 days, caravan 7.3 mtrs , dog, OH. Would like site with reasonable toilet blocks, onboard shower used as wet room for coats etc.

leave UK 2nd April 2019 return 25 June 2019, no I am not bothered re Brexit as long as we can get dog back into country without hassle everything will be fine.

planning Le-Harve - Nantes - Burgos - Salamanca - Mazarron (stayed in Mazarron previously, so this is not a problem. Need to be in Mazarron prior to Easter hols which start on Friday 19th April.) Not thought about return journey yet but will def be Le Harve - Poole.

went via Zaragoza last time so fancy a change of scenery and municipal site at Zaragoza is very expensive and not the best, was infested with ants at last stay. thanks in advance

Not sure whether you simply want an alternative to the Zaragoza campsite or a different route altogether. If you mean the latter then perhaps going via Limoges, Toulouse and over the Pyrenees towards Barcelona ?  That would give you the change of scenery you ask for.

Salamaca is a nice place to visit although I would have thought a bit out of your way. Check out Camping Regio, open all year. Bus leaves from the gate into central Salamanca. Why not head for the Costa Brava and down the Spanish coast. Lots of choice where to stop that way.

Tks ET was planning to do Barcelona on way back, may be a little chilly in April, Tks PD did Spanish coast last year stopped a Tora La Sal 2 for a couple of weeks, very nice, 3 swimming pools, manic during Spanish holidays, Easter last year ugh!, bus would be great but they dont do dogs in Spain frown

We also have a 7 metre caravan and this year on our way to visit La Manga, we went via Pamplona and then found it was an easy run from Pamplona down to Valencia Camperpark. It is a longish way but an easy run on the A68 and A23 and it avoids stopping at Zaragoza.
