Hi all, I am heading towards Denia next week and have heard that Camping Los Pinos is not good for big rigs (CAMC Touring Spain), has anyone with a bigger van been there?   What does the Club class as a large rig?     I have an 8m Swift Kontiki.    This site appears to be good for cycling into Denia.    We intend to arrive after the stormy weather this coming w/e.   Looking forward to hearing from you.

The site photos taken at a quiet time show pitches  which are suitable for you. But how busy are they now?

So I think you have three choices.   You either contact the site today  and see if you can make a booking for a large pitch. Or you phone them when you are a day away, to ask how busy they are and find out what pitches are left. Or you just go and look.

Take care, there's wild weather as you cross southern France. I hope it goes well for you.

Thanks ET, we are in Benicassim and had a few hours of heavy rain yesterday, but today is back to normal and all dried out.    I will take your advice and ring them.    A lot of sites down here are full and turning people away.    Two weeks ago we were in Roses and were lucky to get the last pitch.   So much for touring in the Autumn without booking anywhere!

Hi Mike, we booked our 2019 Spring pitch on 26 Feb 18 and then there were only 3 pitches left!    But we have been surprised by how full the sites are this Autumn.   We called the Denia site and that only had a few odd days free, which did not suit us.     See you in the Spring down here.
