Detachable tow bar

Hi people,

The detachable neck won't attach to the tow bar of my Kia Sportage, the top bit and pin are in the 'attached position, seen few videos on you tube and Google showing how to 'reset' this by turning the knob 180 degrees, however i can only get mine 90 deg ish. The lock is on the unlocked position, it's a global horizon bar fitted about 15 months ago.

    can't help without seeing it, but is there a local towbar place that could help you?

    Thanks for reply, everywhere seems more mobile than workshop based these days, the company who fitted it, the guy has retired. Can't upload any pics as seem to be too big.

    I though you only have to turn 90deg. have you tried it with the key in and turned other way (locked) or nearest towbar/caravan dealer like MM suggested.

    This is exactly the problem as in where the pin and top silver bit is. Yet I simply can't turn as far as needed.

    Maybe silly question, but you are pushing the blue bit in before attempting to turn?

    Yeah, pushing blue bit as normal. Gonna go to a towing centre tomorrow, thanks.
