Hi Everybody.  My Wife and I are travelling to Alicante in December. Can anybody recommend  campsite which is OPEN week commencing 16 th December and also has Electric, Showers and Toilet Block. I have exhausted all avenues but still fairly new to the motorhoming life. Any advice from you seasoned people would be helpful

Camping Larrouleta near Bayonne on the Atlantic side ,  Camping Figurotta near Narbonne on the Mediterranean side - or do you have somewhere else in mind?

As you were, sorry. Figurotta is closed for a few weeks over Christmas, but Google will give you others if you are going along the Mediterranean route.

Have a look on UK Campsites where you can find a list of 'Open All Year sites' and in France there are plenty to choose from - around 250!

You should be able to find plenty along your route, but it's always advisable to contact the site directly to make sure that exceptional circumstances haven't caused them to close.

There is also a downloadable file on Archies Campings - which can be loaded on to your SatNav.  You can download everything, or just the files you choose.  One of these choices gives details of all sites within 15km of the major routes through Europe, including those Open All year (dates given for all sites)
