With the last of the summer sun and autumn on the horizon, September is a lovely time of year to get away from it all. 

I'm off to the New Forest for a weekend break mid-September and I'm hoping to see some autumn colours. Have you got any plans this September?

If anyone needs any ideas of where to stay check out our best September sites.

    Grafham Water soon, not into club sites usually but this will be the second this year surprised, has a good location for us smile

    Cadeside, Willingcott and Exebridge in September then Black Knowl beginning of October.

    Southport next week for a chill after the kids have gone back to school and then Wharfedale at the end of the month.

    Thanks. It sounds good. We're only using one site and touring out from there as the island is quite small.

    We’re off to the Burford site, later on in September, 4 nights. Our last outing this year.

    Starting  at  STRATHCLYDE  on  Monday,  then  Banchory,  Culloden  Moor,  my  beloved  ATLNAHARA,  Maragowan,  Melrose  then, sadly,  Home for  the  29th !!  might  see  a  colourful  tree  or  three  this  time  wink

    Yorkshire (Moors area) for a week, then Southport for second week. Both CLs.

    Cottage for a couple of weeks! Spotted it on a stay on a lovely CL, got a great price from lovely owners. There are hidden bonuses to Club membership. I hope this weather keeps up, lovely here. Borders area by the way!laughing

    Great Yarmouth Racecourse  on the 5th for Boat and Shanty festival ,then on to Cromer for 1940s w/end at Sherringham, then home for 4days to go to annual works do then off to our Second Home  for a "few dayswink" to meet up with friends and Flying Scotsman get home by end of September possiblysurprised

    We are planning a weekend break at Lomond Woods at Loch Lomond and then at the end of September we have a long weekend booked at Troutbeck Head C&MC. Looking forward to seeing the improvements made at Troutbeck.

    Off to Devon, stopping off at Cheltenham on the way down for a couple of nights.  Looking forward to doing some walking on Dartmoor again, it's a long time since we were last there.  Weather forecast looking pretty good too.

    As I have been out throughout most of the peak season (38 nights and 8 sites) I am parking the motorhome in September and going Glamping in Jersey instead.

    Heading south making our way slowly to Devon and Cornwall, 9 CLs booked so far, although we may fit in a club site or two on the way back home.

    Hope everyone is having the weather same as here at home, absolutely glorious yesterday and this morning. Bring it it on................I don't bother checking my weather app much now, it's been a truly lovely Summer. And the sea will have warmed up nicely now!
