Hi All

we are the process of looking to buy our first Motorhome .We are looking a 6 Berth Fixed rear bed with traveling belts so we can take the grandkid's and dogs with us. We Have narrowed it down to four and am planning a trip to mainland this week to purchase one of the four.

Look forward to getting to know everyone and I am sure I will be back asking for lots of advice

Mark and Mandy

    Welcome, M&M.

Do any of the Scilly campsites take MHs or will you wild camp? I guess you'll be confined to St Mary’s.

I’m intrigued to know how you will manage if you need to return to the dealer for warranty work or servicing of the habitation unit.

I might book a seat to watch it craned on and off Scillonian! Unless you are going to store it on mainland of courselaughing

I’ve just remembered, I don’t think any form of caravan/MH is allowed on the Islands.

That makes storage on the mainland sound the most likely.👍🏻

    Hi All

The unit will be stored at a lock up in Penzance.

We Have now purchased a Riviera 181 which will be picking up from Derbyshire the middle of September.

We are then traveling around the area for a couple of weeks to get used to the Van.

And to have some extras fitted as well
