Danny Cipriani
Given that the latest incident involving him is far from the first he's been involved in isn't it about time this thug was thrown out of the England set up for good? It's a very poor reflection on an otherwise well respected game.

If Ben Stokes can be let off, There's might be a precedent for the same to happen to Cipriani. We'll just have to wait and see.
I don't agree with thuggery from players of any sport, IMO if any player is involved in violence in a public place and so bringing their sport into disrepute, there should be at least one years suspension from being involved in that sport.

Ben Stokes was found not guilty, K - in fact there was an interview on West Country ITV last night by the couple he had become involved to defend praising him for his actions.
Danny Cipriani has admitted his guilt and has been involved in such incidents before.
The two cases have little similarity.

Posting libellous comments is most unlike you K, you are usually sharper than that☹️

Danny Cipriani has certainly been in bother over the last few years I hate violence but the Danny Cipriani incident(s) apart - So called 'Celebrities' can be a magnet for abuse. The meekest well mannered person will react when pushed past their limit. Yes, it's wiser to walk away but there comes a point where they react and then the press have a field day at the celebs expense. By the way, I am not sticking up for Cipraiani but neither will I judge him as all we have is media evidence.

Unfortunately people are very quick to form opinions and make judgements and as said above, celebrities are very susceptible to people having a go at them. Cips has certainly disgraced himself before but on this occasion his behaviour was deemed by a court of law to be only meriting a fine so tha papers, as usual, are milking it for all they are worth. I wasn't there, I make no judgements.

Victims are involved in violence in a public place but it shouldn’t lead to unwarranted online attacks from individuals like yourself☹️

I think the two are totally different cases, one activity sought out the violence while one stepped in to defend another couple.
I hope that someone would come to my aid if necessary.

I have to say it is a sad reflection on the game and I see he has now been charged by Rob Andrew (sorry the RFU) to appear next week for 'bringing the game into disrepute'
The sooner somebody can get him help for his alcohol problem the better. In the meantime the search will continue for his replacement in an England shirt.
