New motorhomers In Runcorn
Hi guys.
We've taken our first foray into motorhomes, with a 2003 Fiat Rollerteam Pegaso 181.
It's a really nice vehicle, and we're taking our first trip in it to Coniston Park Coppice this Thursday.
We're really looking forward to spending more time on holiday.
Everyone seems to like our 'new' wheels, except for 1 neighbour, who has taken a real dislike to it, calling it an "eyesore" during an angry tour of it. I think he's more bothered that it's parked on the road between our houses, as he thinks it would be okay if we could get it onto our drive.
Maybe Motorhomes aren't for everyone. Lol.
Looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful country, maybe a little more of Europe and bumping into a few members.

Hi Hampo69 and welcome to Club Together Hope you enjoy your new home on wheels. Take no notice of your neighbour; it's often jealousy which prompts nasty comments.
Take care on your journey to Coniston as there are some very narrow parts. We encountered a caravan coming away last week and we had to reverse to give him room to pass.

Hi, Hampo, and welcome.
Ignore the neighbour, he’s not worth stressing over.

Thanx guys.
I'll certainly watch out when in the narrower Cumbrian lanes, JillwithaJ.
I don't think the neighbour will bother me a great deal. The MH is all legal, even insured to park on the road.
We really can't wait until we can get away, and feel all those eyes watching us. I hope we don't look to much like 'newbies'.🤣🤣

Everyone is a newbie once, so don't worry.
Next week we'll staying on a Certified Location (CL) near you and putting up a new awning to us. We'll look just like newbies as we'll be bringing it out of its box and consulting the instructions just like first timers and do you know something? I don't care what everyone else will be thinking.
Hope you enjoy Coniston. A few years since I last climbed "The Old Man" so must get up there soon.
