Where are you watching the Lunar moon
Tonight we are set to see the century's longest 'blood moon'. Will you be watching it and if so where from; home, a UK Campsite or overseas?

Hoping to watch from home, had some good views of the moon this week, so hope it's clear tonight to see.

If it's visible the eclipse will have started before we see it and low in the SE sky, we've now got a cloudy sky so looks as though we'll miss it. Luckily I've seen it before, had a good view late at night when it was high in the sky. Worth seeing if you get the chance. Our view would normally be seen as it rises over a local hill, a great sight, like a dark red harvest moon. Look out for Mars too, it's the closest to earth we'll see for awhile, so two red objects on view.

My OH would dearly love to see this but whether it's possible is another matter.

"Why would you REMOVE a comment as " not interested".
Why would you post the comment "not interested" Ll?
If I'm not interested in a thread - and it happens quite often in some sections of CT - I just ignore it. I don't feel the need to let everyone know!

We've had weeks of clear skies and I have been able to count Jupiters moons just about nightly
But......
Last night from our beach and cliffs, nothing as an hour before moon-rise thick cloud cover came over, wind got up and we had an electrical storm. Tried again when we got home but rain had started.
Brother in Germany had good views and said that both Mars and Saturn were also spectacular.

We are on home ground at the moment. Been having some wonderfully clear skies, but cloudy overcast has scuppered this event.

because it's a forum, thats what people do. when asked a question you answer it. if your asked about a certain caravan/motorhome but don't know about them people still give their opinions. be a boring forum if everyone ignored all the posts. It looks like others were not interested as posts removed.

When I read a few posts saying, "Content has been removed", yet still identifying the posters, I had thought that removal was because of inappropriate dialogue - e.g., abusive comments, bad language, etc. I think we are all aware of the chances of offensive posts being entered. So surely removal of the whole post, including the posters' identity, would be far better than causing misunderstandings such as had occurred to me, thus avoiding the possibility of innocent posters being regarded in a bad light.

Sadly, after weeks of clear sky’s, nature decided to demonstrate its less benign side with electrical storms, torrential rain and inpenitrable cloud cover. So we couldn’t see the phenomena. By way of consolation, the storm cleared the air and left us cooler.
