Towing a caravan to Bovec, Slovenia

We are planning to visit Slovenia in September.  We are driving from Rotterdam.  We are planning to drive to Bovec in the Triglav National Park for the first few days.  AA route planner suggests that we use the A2,  then the SS54 through part of northern Italy,  then join the 203 which goes straight to Bovec.  Does anyone have any experience towing a caravan on these roads?  We are worried about whether the hills and hairpin bends may be unsuitable for caravans.  Thank you in advance for any advice or possible suggestions for alternative routes.

Are you familiar how to "drive" the road on your computers Google Maps? If not here we go - click on Google Maps, click on the direction symbol (blue diamond white arrow) enter Rotterdam to Bovec. Google will produce a map with route in blue. Expand scale with +/- in bottom right. Move the map until you see clearly the hairpin bends starting on the SS54 then the 203  around Lago del Predil. Now give a single click over the blue route line anywhere you feel you would like to see the road, (ignore "Drag to Change Route") you will then see a small snapshot of the road at the bottom of your screen towards the right. Click on the photo and you will get a full screen picture you can move along the road by clicking on the arrow and moving it along and go around the corners by moving your mouse right or left. I`ve had a look there are a couple of tighter hairpins and road narrows in places but personally I`d not worry too much. Apologies if you have already seen this but might be useful trick for others.
