CL that takes tents

Can anyone recommend a CL site that takes tents please?   We are looking to meet up with family in the future with our Caravan and 2 tents, preferably in the Gwynned area? If not a CL perhaps a small site, we only need the basic facilities.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    unfortunately CLs are not allowed to take tents, it's part of the CAMC rules.

    They do not hold an exemption certificate for tents and are only able to accept club members. 

    I think you’d be better searching for a non-clue site, ajj.

    But some farms have enough space for a club site CL  and a field for use by the rest ...... some stretch/interpret the rules differently.

    You would have a very wide choice if you joined the C&CC. It may even be worth it if you used their sites for just one holiday with two tents? Think the current cheapest membership per family is £38p.a.

    But the site I referred to does take tents ..... just on a different field from his CL

    Tinny ..... Are you in need of a CL that takes tents? If not go to another thread. If you do, contact the farm either through the CC site book (cl) or directly via my link ......

    Try Noyadd Fm, Buith Wells, No 2272 in Site Directory. It's in Powys rather than Gwynned, though. It is a CL but has a separate field where they had tents on when we were there a couple of years ago.

    Try this site, takes both vans and tents. I used it camping some time ago, it was nice then but been given a makeover since, looks a lot nicer now.

    Some CLs do indeed have another separate area where they admit tents and none members, but using the CC handbook to find them isn't easy. Best try UKcampsites website. Best of luck.
