And did you know Fred Dinenage daughter is an MP!!! Isn't the internet wonderful.

Please, please,  please  remember  ttda,  Oh's  hair  should  be  cut / trimmed  to  within   no  more  than  3 { three }  inches  of  the  roots  &  then  off  cuts  swept  up  & placed  in  a  bird  feeder  like  item  where  they  can  mix/match  their  own  nest  linings   !!

Now  the    average  garden  hedge  should  be  cut  to  within  about  3  { Three  }  FEET of  the  roots  and  the  off  cuts  placed  in  a  compost  bin  or  similar.

Ooh yes fresh peas and beans, should have some ready in the garden when we get home. Raspberries and currants too, sometimes going home isn't too bad.

(It's just the builders arriving at 8am the next day that might not be quite so good  surprised)

They are a law unto themselves brue, some firms. We have been waiting for scaffolding firm to turn up and remove scaffolding from our next door neighbour's house before we clean down MH. Been promising for seven days, so we decided to get on with cleaning, they turned up today, blocking us in, and with a blaring loud radio pounding. The radio got sorted pdq, and luckily it's all gone now without too much mess. But I ve got all the windows to do when we get home again, a job I hate!yell

Do those measurements apply to small and large gardens as well?

Or are they to be scaled up or down as appropriate?
