Heads Up.

Here we go again! Certain French oil refineries are reported as being blockaded again this time by farmers. (Times, 11th June). Paris, Toulouse, Lyons, Marseilles and Dunkirk are problem areas.

Fuel shortages in some areas. 

Fill up when you can.

    This is not a long term blockade. The La Mede refinery near Marseille blockage ends today and others are forecast to end on Wednesday.(See La Provence.com newspaper). So unlikely to produce major fuel shortages.

    In the last crisis I found that the Autoroute services always had fuel, also, stations close to the channel ports such as the one on the exit from the Tunnel.

    Have just driven 700 miles from Roscoff to Avignon - no shortage of fuel anywhere at supermarkets or motorways - and no queues. Relax everyone.
