Has anyone been here? Reviews seem quite varied. Any first hand reports would be welcome.

Location, location, location.  Although very busy, very full and very cramped when we were there in summer hols., you can walk into town along the river bank. And the walk is worth it. It's a fine city.

Thanks Eurotraveller. Is the toilet block OK? Some reviews say its a bit grim but no way of judging if they are over sensitive!

It was old but clean, but Idon't  know who they are employing to manage the site this year and what their maintenance standards are, so I think you should go early in the day - with time to drive on elsewhere if you aren't happy after a rapid tour of inspection.

I don't mind old! I will give it a go. As you say very good location for Dijon and its only for a couple of nights.

Having now returned from France, I can report  that the Dijon site is a delight. I think its and ex-Municipal, ow under private ownership. Location is excellent, with a very good bus service in to the city centre or a riverside walk if you prefer. The site is well laid put with both grass and hardstandings. The toilet block is fine if a little old, but nothing to complain about. A very good city location and one that I shall go back to.
